Testimonials: Read from the people on the dance floor!

The music at a Chasunah is not something you can capture in a recording. A recording misses the atmosphere, life and simcha that the music creates on the dance floor. Click here, to read reviews and 'thank-you's from those who've experienced my music - Live!

Chony, as you may know our chasuneh was the first Chasuneh in S. Barbara, California. 400 out of the 450 guests had never seen a frum Chasuneh, let alone dance at one. You skillfully created a most lebidike and lively atmosphere that picked everyone off their feet into the dancing circles. Your non-stop medleys were the talk of the Chabad House for months and everyone at the Chasuneh keeps asking me for recordings. Chony, may you keep bringing Yidden much simcha. A hearty yasher koach for a huge kiddush Hashem and a beautiful Chasuneh.

Dear Chony,

Thank you very much for doing such a great job!! We were not only very impressed with your music - which was beautiful, very lively and chassidishe - but with you yourself. You were a pleasure to deal with and very accomodating -- important factors when you are planning a simcha...

Thank you again,
Yaakov Silberstein

There are no words that can sum up your music at our simcha.
Your music all performed live, sounded so.... LIVE! The way you 'worked with the crowd', or rather, the way the crowd worked with you, truly made for a wonderful simcha. You take the cake when it comes to delivery. it's just that much different.

You are on the top of my recommendation list! Thank you and Hatzlacha Rabba in all that you do!

Thank you so much for playing at our wedding. You seemed to know exactly what to do, playing just the right music at the right times. Everyone was happy, and I've received many reports that it was the 'most leibedik wedding Morristown has ever seen.' I'm going to recommend you to all my friends when they have Simchas, and may you keep making people dance.

Thank you,
Zvi and Chayale Hershcovich.

Dear Choni,

We wanted to convey to you what a success your music had been at the wedding - a success for you and your talent and a success for us in hosting a lovely simcha. Thank you so much. Both of us were thrilled with the music at the chasunah. It wasn't just that you knew what toplay and played superbly. It wasn't just that you stuck to the agreement about what we'd like to hear- for which I was very grateful.

It was more than that. You succeeding in crafting a really perfect atmosphere with your responsiveness to the crowd; seamlessly and immediately coming forward with just the appropriate tune or sound effect according to what was happening. Beyond the responsiveness, you set the tone and atmosphere with liebedik and tasteful music. Many people came forward to ask us who the musician was- they were so impressed. And I mean many. Your music was definitely a high spot, one of the (big) successes of the chasunah- if not the highest and the biggest.

I do hope we will be able to book you again! Hatzlocha rabbah!

Dear Chony,

When our son, was getting married in California, we were in a quandary as to who would we get to play at the wedding? Here we were, 3000 miles away, planning our first wedding, not knowing what to do. Should we hire a musician from California, or import one from NY?

It seems as though, in the big city of L.A., there were no Lubavitch musicians, and we wanted only niggunim to be played at the wedding.

I got your name from someone who's been at lots of weddings, and she said that she was very impressed with you (and your music!). However, my machatonim were very worried about who we would hire. They kept telling me that the music MAKES THE WEDDING! They are shluchim and many of the people who would be at the wedding have never been to a frum wedding before. They wanted to make sure that these people really loved the experience. Of course, I agreed.

Well, we were NOT DISAPPOINTED! From the initial contact with you through the wedding, hiring you was the best decision we ever made. You were easy to deal with in every way, professional, paid attention to detail, and you really rocked the house with your leibidig music. I will mention that you suggested we hire Moshe Katzen as a guitarist to accompany you, and the two of you made for a really awesome pair! We were thrilled and all 400 people at the wedding was really impressed. And best of all, you were reasonably priced, even though you came all the way from Crown Heights!

I would definitely recommend you to anyone. Thank you so much.

Thanks. Your "music helped make one of Chicago's best Simchas-ever"!

This was typical of the many compliments we recieved by our guests the week after the wedding.

You set the tone, and you kept the spirit going the entire evening.
I, my wife, and my family thank you for a very special night filled with music, dancing, and happy memories.

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your playing at our daughter's wedding. The music was very lively, but not earsplitting loud. The mood you created was very fraylich and fun. The whole family loved the music and dancing. We look forward to making other weddings and working with you. It was a pleasure.

Thanks,

Dear Chony,

We want to thank you very much for the great music you played at our daughter's wedding. We didn't know what would happen being that everyone had their own opinion of what kind of music they wanted! But somehow you managed to walk a fine line, and please everyone! You managed to keep the wedding both exciting and chassidish.

Thank you for everything!

Dear Chony,

When my brother Shalom was engaged, the search for a band was on. With the Chasunah in Vancouver Canada it did not make it any easier. I insisted to my parents that you were the one to hire - having heard you perform before. Let me put it this way, anyone at the wedding who had flown in from New York - having travelled a long distance and gone through the time change - had the energy to dance till the wee hours of the morning, thanks to your music. With it being a long distance out of town wedding, the potential pitfalls were many, however you shined in every way possible. Thanks for making me look good to my parents :0)

Still dancing,
Mendel Rubashkin

Dear Chony,

Thank you for the wonderful and inspiring music at our son’s Chasuneh! You made it lively and created an amazingly joyful atmosphere.

You were very sensitive to our musical preferences and really tailored everything to our taste. We have to tell you that we have made quite a few weddings and working with you was extraordinarily pleasant and easy. There were snags, there always are, and you dealt with them with tact and maturity. This trait will stand to your good stead in your career in the years to come.

We also appreciated your following our desires that the music not be too loud. You are the first musician we worked with who really worked to make us happy in every way. It was great!

Wishing you all the best,
Gershon and Chana Rachel Schusterman

Chony, I have been heard a lot of your music and it is really uplifting. The Chayos you bring to many of the weddings is tremendous. You are a talented musician, as well as being hardworking and dedicated. Please continue to put smiles on the people of Crown Heights and beyond.

Chony, you deserve the best. And the people reading this should know that when they pick you for their Simcha, they really are getting a bargain. Keep up the good work!

Dear Choni,
Please pardon my bad manners for not thanking you in person last night. You were really, really fantastic. I usually NEVER dance, and I woke up this morning and every bone in my body hurts from dancing.
'Shkoach for truly enhancing my daughter and son-in-law's wedding! You're really good.

Dar Chony,
What can we say....... You were the best decision that we made for our son Sholem and Daughter in law Devorahs wedding in Montreal this past week. Your music was fantastic, and so leibidik, it really kept us on our toes all night long.
You are a real pleasure to work with always trying your hardest to accomodate whatever situation arrises with true professionalism. You helped make our wedding a night to remember, and for that we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
May Hashem bentch you to continue to make beautiful music, and may you soon dance at your own simcha.
